Getting Started
Financial Boss uses a waitlist to ensure every new client gets the same quality and attention. Click "Join Waitlist" to fill out a form and schedule a free call. If we're a match, you'll receive an agreement to e-sign and a link for payment details. Once completed, we'll send links to Monarch Money, RightCapital, or Altruist, based on your chosen plan and investment management preference.

Financial Boss provides financial planning advice to all its clients. We can also advise on investments held outside our firm, such as your 401(k) or 529 College Savings Plan. Some clients prefer that we directly manage their investments through our custodian Altruist. In those cases, we support most every type of account, including:

- There are additional states that allow tenancy by entirety only for “real property” (such as real estate); however, this does not apply to “personal property” (such as brokerage accounts). As such, we can only open brokerage accounts in the states listed above.

Financial Boss partners with Altruist to custody client assets.
Altruist Financial LLC is a broker-dealer registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) and member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).
Altruist Financial LLC is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (“SIPC”), which means securities held in your brokerage account are protected up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash). Explanatory brochure available upon request or at www.sipc.org.
In addition, Altruist Financial LLC carries an excess SIPC policy with underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, which extends the per account coverage by an additional $40 million (with a cash sub limit of $2 million), subject to an aggregate limit of $150 million across all Altruist accounts. Repurchase agreements, reverse repurchase and stock loan transactions, as well as certain mutual funds, may not be covered by the excess SIPC bond.

No, we don't require a minimum asset amount to start. Financial Boss knows that many Millennials are new to investing and have savings in 401(k) plans. We aim to make financial planning easy and accessible for all.
Yes, we're happy to waive the monthly financial planning fee when we manage at least $500k in your investable assets.
No, Financial Boss charges in arrears, which means your first payment isn't due until 30-days after you start with us.
We expect our clients to work with us on an ongoing monthly basis, since life’s always changing with promotions, layoffs, and new decisions, but you can cancel at any time by providing one month's written notice.
After setting up your Financial Boss account, look for an email from AdvicePay to manage invoices via credit card or ACH. Investment services can be billed through Altruist and debited from your account.

Accessing your accounts is a breeze! Simply click on the Client Login button at the top of our website and choose from Monarch Money, RightCapital, or Altruist.

Monarch Money helps you track income and expenses, understand cash flow, and set a budget. Log in via the Client Login button on our website, go to the Account tab, and click + Add account to search for your financial institution.
RightCapital simplifies financial planning, from retirement to taxes. Click Client Login on our website, log in to RightCapital, access the Profile tab on the top-right of the menu, and click + Link Account to find your financial institution.
Financial Boss partners with Altruist for your investments. Access your account via the Client Login button on our website. For investments we don't manage, find them on RightCapital if linked through our account aggregator.
Clients receive a meeting link to schedule time with their advisor. They also receive an email and phone number that they can call or text. If none of those options work, then please email support@financialboss.com.
